The Wellness Charity supports the Monthly Members’ Wellness Clinics. On the fourth Sunday of each month (mark your calendar) the Victoria Health Co-op’s Wellness Practitioners offer wonderful healing treatments to the members of the Co-op. Approximately a week before each Wellness Clinic an email is sent to all members of the Victoria Health Co-op listing the month’s participating practitioners and giving the phone number to make an appointment. The Practitioners generously donate their time. We invite members to donate what they can afford and, if they wish, to receive a charitable donation receipt. (Link to Charitable donation form.) The funds donated at each Wellness Clinic are the main source of the Health Access Fund.
Health Access Fund (HAF)
This HAF enables us to support the wellness of individuals (members of the Victoria Health Co-op) who need, but cannot afford, a series of treatments at the same time as ensuring that the Practitioners receive appropriate fees. Access to the HAF is a benefit of membership in the Victoria Health Co-op (lifetime membership $50). To access the HAF, please speak with any practitioner at the Monthly Members’ Wellness Clinic.
The Society, working with the Victoria Health Co-op, provides an interface between you, the person seeking wellness treatments, and a roster of practitioners who are highly qualified, and whose skill is carefully peer-evaluated prior to acceptance. An improved version of this will be made available on the updates website of the Victoria Health Co-op, target date April 15th.
